Have you considered that this general design has been used for years and years because *drumroll* ... it WORKS? You can speculate all you want after only having seen pictures but it means jack shit if you haven't had any actual ride time. Relatively few people on Pinkbike have ridden a Loki- I had the chance to take it down a DH run and I promise the suspension was fantastic ;) Mike, one of the bike's designers, spent a huge amount of time refining the linkage over and over- don't assume this is some random bike thrown together in a few months.
